Our Story
Dr Hooman Golestani opened the doors at Dental 359 in February 2000. More than 25 years later, Dr Golestani – as well as his founding philosophy to offer high-quality dental care for the Perth community, delivered by people who take the time to do it properly – is still here.
Our practice has evolved over the years. We’ve grown from a local clinic into a broader practice offering cosmetic, restorative and emergency treatments alongside general dentistry for all ages. At every turn, we’ve been guided by our values and what our patients need from us.
More than 25 years on, Dental 359 is an award-winning and industry-accredited practice. Most of all, we are a local practice, just like we’ve always been.
How Dental 359 Began
Rokeby Road in Subiaco has been our home since 2000. Back then, just like today, Subiaco was a great place to build a community and a business. Close to Perth CBD and easy to reach by car or public transport, yet in a calm neighbourhood with historic charm.
Over time, Dental 359 expanded from everyday dental care into cosmetic and implant dentistry, while continuing to look after patients returning for their routine checks and preventive care. Many longstanding patients have been seeing Dr Golestani for decades. Carina, who welcomes patients at the front desk, has also been here since the doors opened.
The practice grew deliberately rather than quickly, always putting patient comfort first and ensuring we could maintain our excellent care standards. This has meant investing in innovations like Nobel Biocare dental implant systems, and being an early adopter of Invisalign clear aligners in Perth.
Today, Dental 359 is led by principal dentist and owner, Dr Thomas Munro. “Dr Tom” focuses on cosmetic dentistry, clear aligners and implant dentistry, with postgraduate diplomas in each of these areas as well as oral surgery and specialist training. His approach continues Dental 359’s history of keeping clinical knowledge current while making treatment easy for patients to understand.

Dental 359 is proud to partner exclusively with Prime Lab Dental Studios, a boutique dental laboratory in Perth specialising in high-quality aesthetic restorations, dental prosthetics and implant restorations.
Working closely with a trusted laboratory gives our dentists greater collaboration throughout the treatment process, helping us deliver restorations with a focus on precision, consistency and natural-looking results. Prime Lab combines digital workflows with high-quality ceramic and zirconia restorations across treatments including crowns, bridges, smile makeovers and implant dentistry.
This partnership supports the personalised approach we take at Dental 359, with your dentist and laboratory working closely together to achieve a result designed specifically for your smile.

Our clinicians hold postgraduate qualifications and pursue ongoing training. We use evidence-based techniques alongside technology such as iTero digital scanning, CEREC 3D and Nobel Biocare implant systems to provide precise, tailored treatments.
Community Care
Dental 359 has spent more than 25 years caring for Subiaco and the wider Perth community. Many of our patients have been with us for years. Dr Tom also volunteers his dentistry skills, work that reflects our shared belief that dentistry genuinely improves lives.
