“Dr Tom” Munro leads Dental 359 with a calm, friendly and practical approach. He’s known for his patient manner and – by his own admission – for working a little too much.
Since completing his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at James Cook University in Queensland in 2017, Dr Tom has earned postgraduate diplomas in clear aligners, dental implants and oral surgery. During his 10 years in dentistry, he has also completed research and international training, including with Nobel Biocare. At Dental 359, he focuses on cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign clear aligners and implant dentistry.
He plans treatment around the person in the chair, taking time to understand the problem properly and explain the options clearly. The person planning your treatment is the same person carrying it out. And where there is more than one approach, he’ll talk through the differences so you can make an informed decision.
Away from the clinic, Dr Tom loves to get outdoors or tackle a weekend DIY project. He has also volunteered his dental skills in Australia and overseas – work that puts into practice his philosophy that dentistry is a way to uplift lives and restore confidence.
